Ology superstar Evie has been modelling regularly for John Lewis for 12 months and has detailed her experiences below!

‘Hi, my name is Evie, I’m 8 years old and I love modelling for John Lewis!

I have modelled for John Lewis for a year now and I always have the most exciting time!

When I get to the studio I have my hair and makeup done, just a bit of powder, mascara and lip gloss. I look like a princess!

There are rails of gorgeous dresses, coats, skirts and even pajamas for me to try on. All with matching shoes, boots, hats and tights. It is great fun looking through it all and I wish I could take all the clothes home.

My mum has loved some of the dresses so much she bought them for me from the shop!
When the clothes lady has decided what she wants me to wear, my mum helps me get dressed then we go on set.

The photographer is really nice and tells me where to stand. She takes loads of photos of me, in lots of different poses, telling me to look this way, look down, walk forward, jump to the side and smile. She always makes me laugh!

The photographer chats all the time with me about school and dancing. One time I was teaching her some tap dance moves and the makeup and clothes lady joined in too! It was so funny! Another time we all had to do our best gymnastics move and everyone was on the floor trying to do the splits and a bridge!

I usually model about 6 outfits and everyone is so friendly and kind to me. I have the best time and I always end the day with a high five for everyone!’
